Postmortem
What Went Well

-
Implementation of systems into each track was smooth.
-
Most bug fixes usually involved placement of splines in the world and were easily fixed.
-
Systems were built efficiently and allowed us to easily expand and add onto them without breaking prior ones.
What Went Wrong

-
Confirming that tasks were completed to expectations was difficult to acquire if addressed at all.
-
Lack of effective commenting, organization and code reviews left blueprints messy for actors such as the player.
-
More time than necessary was spent on the player tag UI displays for multiplayer.
What I Learned

-
Importance of effective cross-discipline communication and proper documentation.
-
Being able to talk with your leads regularly outside of scrum meetings builds confidence and understanding in the work being done.
-
Timeboxing tasks and asking for assistance sooner rather than spending extra time helps keep the design process moving and productive.
